Background:

In 2002, OCHRC awarded institutions from two countries to conduct the study. The study Bolivia in was aimed to increase duration of exclusive breastfeeding in El Alto through a community-based approach while the study in Madagascar promoted exclusive breastfeeding in two new regions through a streamlined approach.
